I had to move the entire contents of my 1 bedroom apartment from Melbourne to Sydney on short notice in August and then have it held in storage for a couple of months.
My experience with Kent was fantastic in all areas including:
– Fast, transparent quote and initial communication via email and phone with my questions and change requests being actioned immediately
– Removal day went perfectly with the team arriving at exactly the time advised and after receiving a heads up call shortly before arrival. They were also in and out within an hour and nothing was too difficult
– While my items were in storage, questions I had were answered quickly via email and phone
– Arranging the redelivery in Sydney in the last couple of weeks went super smonthly and again the team arrived exactly when advised
Overall, every single person was friendly and helpful and I felt comfortable with everyone I met. I didn’t have to worry and it was effortless on my part. I have heard horror stories about removalists from other people so I was nervous going in but I really had nothing to worry about with your company.

We sought quotes from 3 companies. Two of the companies harassed us frequently to accept the quote, and even after telling them we would not use their service, continued to send us texts and emails trying to get our custom. From the first contact with Kent, they were professional, provided clear guidelines and estimators for the volume to be moved and insurance, and then provided a formal quotation. They were a little higher in cost than the others, but their communication was respectful, was not pushy or aggressive and were helpful about estimating the details of the move. On the day, the removalists turned up on time, were polite and completely reduced our stress about the move, and the fact that the house was not completely ready for them. Clinton and Nick were fantastic. they reassured us that they could work around us and would uplift one section while we prepared others. They were careful with our furniture both uplifting and delivering and nothing at all was damaged. They made our move manageable and less stressful than we thought. It is not all about cost when it comes to moving your possessions, and Kent were absolutely value for money. Thank you for your great service, we would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
