Are Kent Storage Units Safe?

Kent Storage uses purpose-built, reinforced steel containers that are completely enclosed, and locked by you before being transported back to our state-of-the-art, secure storage facilities. Unlike many self-storage solutions your items will not be exposed to dust, vermin and the elements. We bring the storage unit to you, which reduces the risk associated with double handling. Our facilities are also security and fire monitored 24/7, and closed to the public.
What Security measures do you have in place at your Warehouses?

Kent has advanced security protection systems to protect your belongings whilst in our care. Kent Storage warehouses are: Strictly private facilities where no one from the general public can enter. Our Storage Warehouses are purpose-built buildings with secure and gated fencing with CCTV and fire monitoring 24/7, 365 days per year. Undercover to protect your items from the external elements. Free from dust, vermin, pests and general public access.
Are my goods monitored via CCTV?

Yes. Our advanced security systems are monitoring your effects every day of the year. We also have alarm systems with monitored patrols in all warehouse locations.
Do I Need Insurance on a Kent Storage Unit?

Our unique Four-Level Secure Storage System is designed to offer maximum protection to your items in storage, and when being transported to our storage facilities or returned to you. However, there is always a risk of unpredictable events beyond our control, which is why we also offer our Storage Insurance for additional peace-of-mind. We recommend you speak to your Storage consultant to explain the level of Insurance cover that is available and may best suit your individual circumstances.
What does your Insurance cover?

As furniture is not designed to be moved and external risks are present with transport and logistics, Kent have developed a comprehensive range of insurance cover options that protect your items whilst in transit and storage. We have new for old cover available should the unthinkable happen and a choice of excess options leaving you in control of your personal budget requirements. Please note: It is important to read the Product Disclosure Statement when considering Insurance. Please ask our team for a copy of this so you can make an informed decision that best suits your needs.
