What does your Insurance cover?

As furniture is not designed to be moved and external risks are present with transport and logistics, Kent have developed a comprehensive range of insurance cover options that protect your items whilst in transit and storage. We have new for old cover available should the unthinkable happen and a choice of excess options leaving you in control of your personal budget requirements. Please note: It is important to read the Product Disclosure Statement when considering Insurance. Please ask our team for a copy of this so you can make an informed decision that best suits your needs.
Are my goods automatically covered under Kent’s Insurances?

Unfortunately, whilst we have our own Insurance in place for our staff and equipment, your goods are not covered whilst in our care and why we have developed a comprehensive Transit and Storage Insurance policy for clients to consider for their goods whilst exposed to external party risks which are beyond our direct control. Please speak to our Storage consultants for more information on choosing the right Insurance policy which best suits your needs.
Do I Need Insurance on a Kent Storage Unit?

Our unique Four-Level Secure Storage System is designed to offer maximum protection to your items in storage, and when being transported to our storage facilities or returned to you. However, there is always a risk of unpredictable events beyond our control, which is why we also offer our Storage Insurance for additional peace-of-mind. We recommend you speak to your Storage consultant to explain the level of Insurance cover that is available and may best suit your individual circumstances.
